First Escape The largest marathon cross-country cycling in Romania
Prima Evadare is the biggest mountain-bike competition and the most popular in Romania and Eastern Europe. It's a friendly cross-country cycling event, which opens the season of MTB marathons with a light version, without level differences.
The contest between Bucharest and Snagov forests and country roads over a distance of 55 de km.
The contest reached a maximum of 3000 of participants between 5 one 73 years of 29 de țări.
First Escape received Award for the best organized event that promotes the movement within the galas “What Doctor”.
Marathon is accessible to almost anyone, give up recomandă training before - at least 3 outputs longer on rough terrain (forest roads, paths ...). The trail is marked throughout distance, are 3 areas of supply, 12 checkpoints, Another area home and finish, assisted by police and rescue, officials patrolled the competition, teams of photographers and cameramen and filming/surveillance from the helicopter.
The trail is cleaned and marked all year round so that it can be used for training and excursions along with the other related trails on nomad-trails.ro that make up the Prima Evadare trail network in the north of the Capital.
Last but not least, the event also has an ecological component. Together with municipalities and volunteers clean as possible waste covered forests.
At the same time, we take steps to protect forests, the lakes, monuments or other natural or touristic elements on the route through different projects (Save Codrii Vlasiei, The Manifesto for Forests, Green Belt)
On the First Escape route you can find several historical monuments in addition to the natural ones: Mausoleum Mauriciu Blank, Fortificatia – Battery 3-4 from the fortification belt of Bucharest, Ghica Palace, the remains of the Codris of Vlăsia, the rivers of Vlăsia and even the small river that gives the name of these woods and usually goes unnoticed, Vlăsia river.
Battery 3-4 it is cleared of debris and made accessible to the public by us both for the competition and for visiting it during the rest of the year. You can go on the route from there so as not to cross the belt.
The competition is organized by the Club Nomad Multisport.
By organizing this event, we proposed since 2009 (when this project officially started):
– We encourage a healthy lifestyle through outdoor sports, is a competition that brings together amateur and professionals in different categories.
– Information / Education Primary newcomers in the sport by presenting basics (communication during the race, orientation, equipping, SUPPLY, fair play-ul, care for nature)
– Promoting trails and forests in the north of Bucharest in a more active way than the grates;
– We introduce new elements every year in terms of organization, and a transparent organization, something that inspired other organizers and increased the number of contests in the country
– Cleaning the areas affected by waste and approaches to localities and communities so that this does not happen again.
– Promoting competition in general and other MTB marathons in the country (See page competiții)
– Let's contribute to a cleaner Bucharest, friendlier and more environmentally friendly, encouraging bicycle use.;
