Thousands of cyclists have escaped Sunday 11 May in Bucharest in nature

12 more 2014 Sunday 11 more, the known route of forests in northern Bucharest, hosted the sixth edition of the largest cross-country cycling marathon in Eastern Europe, "First Escape". As every year, new records were set for competitions of this kind in Romania: Total prizes 7.000 euro, 2.924 registered competitors, 2.215 ending race, largest number of athletes in a foreign country - 30 (Bulgaria) și 45 participating in photo contest.

Some interesting figures of the season: number of girls included - 308, number of athletes legitimated – 30, number of photographers - 70, the oldest participant - 69 year, the youngest - 6 year, number of children under 15 years - 70, number of companies listed - 22, with 268 representatives, number of volunteers - 200, 4 days - for lifting packages Contest, 7 - TV, 30 raffle winners competitors and volunteers. "First Escape" is a friendly competition cycling cross-country, the open season for mountain biking marathons in Romania, through an easy route, without level differences, departure from the Police Academy in Bucharest and arrival at Snagov. The competition takes place on country roads, at a distance of about 55 km. The whole contest away from marked and fitted with 13 checkpoints and 4 areas of supply. The route was assisted by Police and Rescue and was patrolled by competition officials, teams of photographers and cameramen. Contestants were followed and filmed two helicopters.

The event was organized by Nomad Club Multisport and enjoyed enthusiastic partners such as Red Bull, BCR, Merida, CST, Skoda, Ciuc, Veloteca, Rexona, Voslauer şi High5, and media partner was Pro FM.

Municipalities were involved in Otopeni, București, Tunari, Mill Vlăsiei, Baloteşti and Snagov. They waste and cleaned the route adjacent areas. Thousands of cyclists will take part in the biggest marathon in Romania and Eastern Europe

23 April 2014 Press Evadare – the largest cross-country cycling marathon in Eastern Europe and the most popular competition of its kind in Romania – will be held Sunday, 11 more, dedicated path from the forests in northern Bucharest. Close 2.000 cyclists have already entered the competition now in its sixth edition, and many others are expected to enroll in the days before competition.

Last year the contest has brought home nearly 3.000 competitors, exceeding all expectations and setting a new national record of participation. The contest takes place on country roads, forests in northern Bucharest, at a distance of about 58 kilometers between Bucharest and Snagov. The whole contest away from marked and provided with 13 checkpoints and 4 areas of supply.
